Assumption Day at Assumption Grotto: Organ Concert - Stephanie Nofar

Organist Stephanie Nofar, who plays with the Assumption Grotto Choir and Orchestra will be performaing on Assumption Day in the Church at 5:15pm. It's a good idea to get to Grotto before 5:00 for the 7:00pm Mass and there are plenty of things to do, including the organ concert. I have heard pieces of it during practice and it is awesome.
Stephanie Nofar has earned a Masters degree in music from the University of Michigan. She is organist at Assumption Grotto Church. She comes from a musical family. She is the third of five sisters who sing and play the piano and organ. Stephanie Nofar is in the process of releasing a recording of organ music through Grotto Productions. I'll provide more details and availability info as soon as I have it.
For tomorrow's concert:

Prelude and Fugue in A minor BWV 543 by J.S. Bach
Matines by Loius Vierne
Sonata VI by Mendelssohn
Allegro con Chorale by Mendelssohn

Te Deum Laudamus! Home
The obedient are not held captive by Holy Mother Church; it is the disobedient who are held captive by the world!
